Mirror Mirror

So I came across and interview with Mr. Cook where he revealed that the original name for Digital Vein was Mirror Mirror. Now I don’t really know what the meaning of this name would be in context to the record. The only thing I could think of is that it’s no secret that Cook has stated that following the release of This Loud Morning he had had some trouble, especially dealing with the passing of his brother, in re-connecting with music. I guess this time could have been a time of self reflecting, hence the name Mirror Mirror. Personally I’m very relieved this was not the name he went with. Although I’m not head over heals with the name Digital Vein either, I do like the call back to Analog Heart, and in that I do like the name, not a strong though as This Loud Morning for an album name but still pretty good. I just thought this was an interesting bit of news that I though I should give a little 2 cense on.
